Take the Stress Test

Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.
~Chinese Proverb

It is well documented that stress is a direct contributor to health issues. When ‘stress’ is mentioned people can often immediately jump to the conclusion that it is all in the head and that our physical bodies won’t be affected, but there is a lot of research out there that demonstrates that stress causes, not only psychological problems but physical ones as well.

This can include anything from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, skin rashes, obesity, sleep problems and constant fatigue. It can also lead to more serious conditions such as heart problems and cancer. Bottom line, stress is best avoided!

Stress can affect you in many areas of your life. Work can be a major contributing factor due to overwork or interpersonal conflict on the job. There are other areas of life than may be causing you to feel a bit stressed; problems in relationships, health not being what you want it to be, feeling unfulfilled spiritually or family challenges.

Some people don’t even realise they are stressed and lead a life of quiet desperation, muddling through week by week, year by year, decade by decade. Often people know they are not happy but are too afraid of what might happen if they challenge what is perceived to be ‘normal’ or ‘accepted’.

Coaching can help enormously in identifying the CAUSES of stress rather than merely dealing with the symptoms. By helping our clients to raise their awareness of the 'happiness gaps' in their lives, the true reasons for their stress will be uncovered. It is then much easier to get control of the situation.

So this Stress Test is designed for you – there is no score, there is no right or wrong, good or bad. It’s short and quick but you must be honest – don’t kid yourself – this is your life your playing with. This is here for you to get a private assessment of what’s going on in your life and areas you may want to change. If you want to chat with us about these things feel welcome to call or email.
